Registered Social Worker
MSW, RSW
Available Appointments: In-Person & Video

As a Registered Social Worker with over 25+ years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across a range of settings including crisis management, counselling, and psychotherapy. My approach is grounded in a deep respect for the uniqueness of each client’s story, and I offer a safe, confidential, and compassionate space for adult individuals and couples seeking support.

I am particularly interested in the neuroscience of stress and trauma, and how overwhelming experiences impact both the body and mind. This understanding continues to shape my holistic approach, guiding the integration of somatic tools with talk-based therapy to support deep healing and meaningful growth.

I offer counselling for a wide range of life challenges, including the impact of personal or intergenerational trauma, relationship difficulties, identity shifts, health issues, grief, and workplace stress. I bring specialized experience supporting first responders and their families, with an understanding of the unique psychological, relational, and occupational pressures they face. I also work extensively with neurodivergent clients—including those with ADHD, Autism, or Learning Disabilities—and am committed to providing affirming, respectful, and accessible care.

In my work with individuals, I draw from a blend of evidence-based modalities such as Mindful Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Complex Trauma and Grief Therapy. Sessions are collaborative and intuitive, tailored to each person’s goals, values, and lived experience. I support clients in identifying what’s no longer serving them, reconnecting with their inner resources, and moving forward with clarity and self-compassion.

When working with couples, I take a pragmatic, action-oriented approach focused on building insight, communication, emotional attunement, and healthy relational dynamics. Whether navigating conflict, life stage transitions, or attachment-related challenges, I help couples leave each session with new tools and a renewed sense of direction and hope.

At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy should empower individuals and couples to reconnect with themselves and with life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering evidence-based support and mindful presence as you move toward healing, resilience, and growth.
